Welcome to Springtime!!!
If you’re in West Texas like we are, the wind has been effectively rearranging your backyard for you on a daily basis, free of charge!! 🙂 But, no matter where you are, we hope you are enjoying the warmer weather, blooming trees and possibilities of rain! Spring always seem to bring with it a renewing of sorts; almost like a do-over for a new season. Here’s to a do-over for you, if you need it, and some refreshing scriptures to keep you going this month.
Bobbie Jo Miller, Psalm 18:28 (GNT) “O Lord, you give me light, you dispel my darkness.”
Sherryle Cantu, 1 John 2:6 (NKJV) “He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”
Sue Bergsieker, Habakkuk 2:14 (AMP) “But the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
Kara Hyden, Malachi 3:10 (MSG) “…and see if I don’t open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams.”
Amanda Anderson, Psalms 141:3 (NKJV) “Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.”
Jessica Cisneros, Isaiah 9:6 (NIV) “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Amy Lucero, Isaiah 61:3 (NIV) “…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.”
Stacy Havens, Hebrews 12:1-3 (NIV) “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
