May Scripture Memorization

hidden word

It seems to be that time of year when things start to get a little bit crazy in our lives.  The kids have started summer games for the various baseball leagues, school is only weeks’ away from being out for the summer and last-minute arrangements for family vacations start to firm up.  But, we have to remember that no matter what we have going on in our lives and how busy we are, we always need to make time for God.  So as your days seem longer, but your time seems shorter throughout it, take a few quick minutes and soak in God’s Word.  Here are a few scriptures from our bloggers to help you make the most of your time…

Stacy Havens, Hebrews 10:35-36 (NIV) “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.”

Jessica Cisneros, Isaiah 46:4 (NLT) “I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.”

Sue Bergsieker, Jeremiah 15:16 (NLT) “When I discovered Your words, I devoured them. They are my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear Your name, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies.”

Kara Hyden, Isaiah 40:28-31 (NLT) “Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of His understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”

Sherryle Cantu, Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV) “Fear not, for I Am with you; be not dismayed, for I Am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Bobbie Jo Miller, Proverbs 3:5-6 (GNB) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the Lord in everything you do, and He will show you the right way.”

Please feel free to share with us the scripture(s) you hold on to during these busy times.  Blessings to all of you!! 🙂
