Wander No More

Isaiah 30.21

I first heard this verse when I was a senior in high school.  It was the theme verse for a regional youth gathering I was attending.  As a senior trying to choose which road I wanted to embark, this verse was a promise that whatever road I did choose, God would be right there with me.

In the 10+ years since high school, that verse has never returned to me void.  Whenever I am sitting at a crossroad in my life, I repeat that verse to myself. I am comforted in the fact that God will always be with me down any road I choose.  I haven’t always turned down the right path; but even in those wrong paths, He has been there guiding me, nudging me and sometimes, outright kicking my behind (I tend to be a tad stubborn) to the path that He wants me to take.

If you find yourself at a crossroad wondering which path to choose, take comfort in this verse.  Know that whatever road you choose, He will always be with you.
