We’d like to introduce you to our blog contributors:
Stacy Havens: Stacy has been married to her husband Warren for over 26 years and they have nine children. Her goal is to live a life worthy of The Lord and to see others walk in all that Christ died to give them.
Kara Hyden: Kara has been married to her high school sweetheart, Jim, for 12 years. She serves at FCFC in several different capacities, including the Information Table, leading one of the Sister Knot bible study classes, assisting with the Cherished Women’s Ministry and as editor of the Cherished blog. She also maintains her own personal blog at http://www.kmhlivingbyfaith.com.
Jessica Cisneros: Jessica married her middle school sweetheart, Jacob, in 1999. They have 4 sweet girls that definitely keep them occupied daily. Although she often stays busy with various after-school activities, Jessica enjoys those rare quiet moments reading, drinking coffee (even if its 10pm), journaling and catching the occasional Sci-fi flick. Jessica serves in the Fusion Youth Group, Faith Kids and Cherished Women’s Ministry. A strong believer in the expression, ” Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”, she aspires to share the good news of Christ with those in need of encouragement. A self proclaimed “introvert”, Jessica trusts that only God could have placed her in the right places at the right times and allowed her to step out of her comfort zone and take hold of the opportunities only He could provide.
Bobbie Jo Miller: Bobbie Jo moved to Lubbock in the fall of 2010 and started attending FCFC that winter. As a young teacher she spends most of her time in her classroom, however when she is not in her classroom you can find her serving in the church or cooking up exciting new recipes that she finds on Pinterest. She enjoys NASCAR, country music, reading and keeping up with her own blog (http://bjmusicaltransformation.wordpress.com). Her favorite verse is Isaiah 30:21, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying ‘This is the way; walk in it.'”
Sherryle Cantu: Sherryle’s life’s desire is to be content yet never satisfied. She is a lover of books, movies, music and all things purple. Sherryle is a single mother of three sons. She works with her father and sister in the family business. Life Verse: Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” Life Quote: “Go within and scale the depths of your being from which your very life springs forth” – Rainer Maria Rilke
